The beekeeping smock protects your upper body (head, torso, & arms) from bee stings. Smocks are designed for maximum protection of your upper body, but also flexibility & comfort.
The beekeeping smock protects your head, arms, and torso from bee stings. It is designed with heavy material to give you maximum protection, but is also flexible and comfortable allowing you to work at your beehives unhindered.
The material of the beekeeping smock is durable and can be washed using a regular washer. It is recommended, however, to let your smock air dry instead of using an electric dryer.

As the beekeeping smock only covers your upper body, you need to make sure you wear protective layers that cover your lower extremities. At least one layer of jeans or other heavy pants are crucial to fully protecting yourself from bee stings.
