This lesson contains a brief overview of everything we’ve covered in this Starter Kit Course. We’ve also included a FREE resource to help you make sure you’ve got all of the equipment you need to be successful as a backyard beekeeper. We’ve also conveniently collected all of the links to the various parts of the Starter Kit so you can easily access them.

Any good Starter Kit should contain the essential tools you need to be successful as a beekeeper. 

At a minimum, your Starter Kit should contain:

• Bee Suit
• Hive Tool
• Smoker
• Woodenware

As long as you have these items, you’ll be good to get started. We covered each of these things in detail throughout this course.

As we mentioned in the previous lesson, beware of “budget” equipment! 

Budget equipment has no guarantees on the quality and in our experience, is usually garbage that will have to be replaced at least 3x as often as an initial investment in good equipment. 

Investing in good equipment up front will save you a lot of time, money, and headache.
