Our Commitment to Combating Coronavirus

In light of recent developments with the outbreak of COVID-19, Bear Country Bees is taking additional steps to ensure the safety and health of our customers, staff, and all others involved in any transaction or interaction with us. We are committed to doing our part in helping temper the spread of the virus where ever possible. To this end, we are following the guidance of local, state, and national health officials to ensure we’re taking the appropriate measures to protect the health and safety of everyone involved.

Our objective is to continue providing you with a seamless experience as you continue to interact with us. At this point, we do not anticipate any interruptions to the services we provide or the experiences you have working with us.

However, given the way the COVID-19 situation is unfolding, it is possible that certain interruptions may occur out of necessity in the interest of protecting your health and safety.

Potential Interruptions To Our Service

In accordance with guidance received from the appropriate health professionals, we are proactively making preparations for potential changes, delays, and other adjustments to the following:

  • Bee Package & Nuc Pickup Events
  • Delivery times, schedules, and other logistical considerations
  • Processing and shipment of orders
  • Addition of requested content, features, and other elements on our website
  • On-site meetings with Bear Country Bees staff members (including those
    previously scheduled)

  • Responses to phone calls, emails, chats, and other communications with our team
  • Shipments from our vendor partners
  • Other adjustments as necessary

We feel that it’s important to note that even though any of the above are possible outcomes, we do not expect any mass shortages of supplies needed for beekeeping. Consequently, we do not see any need to place orders that are larger than necessary to secure supplies, bees, and other beekeeping materials. We expect that you will have access to all of the supplies that you will need even if some delays do occur.
