Our Italian queen bee comes in a queen cage and is ready to be installed into your hive. Italian honey bees generally exhibit the best combination of the best traits found in many other bee species. They generally have more mild temperaments (are more docile) than many other species, are known for creating strong colonies and typically produce a great supply of honey.

I have three hives. Two of the hives are queenless. Do you know where I can get two queens? The one with the queen is fairly young in it’s development and I am afraid that if I take a frame out of it with a queen cell it might weaken the hive and lessen it’s survivability.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your comment. If you are looking for an Italian queen here in the Utah County area, we will have a few available this coming weekend (approximately 5/30). If you are interested in one of these queens, stay tuned and check this page (above) daily for availability as these queens will be available on a first come, first served basis.
However, if you are located elsewhere, we suggest that you work with a reputable local supplier that knows how to handle bees and has a proven track record of safely transporting them to your area.
